The Cheat mods are there for those who want to have crazy campaigns, making their characters gods, or basic debugging for some of the weird things that this game can do. Just make sure the mods are up to date so they cause no problems. I also would look for other mods on the forum as some do not make it to the steam workshop.
If you do install it though, it will ♥♥♥♥ up the interface and mess with the scaling because of the Bigger Interface mod.
Alright when you install HIP, make sure you don't install the ARKOPack interface plugin. I like playing as Theophylact, Count of Tusculum, though I have yet to replicate his family's control of the Papacy.
